By plane

Direct flights to Dresden are currently offered by over 40 airports in Germany and Europe or with only one stop from the international airports of Frankfurt and Munich.

Route planning by Dresden Airport

By car

Dresden can conveniently be reached by using the motorways A4, A13 and A14. Thus travelling by car or coach is another option.

By train

The German railway network links Dresden with all major German and European destinations. Long-distance trains to and from Dresden arrive at and depart from the stations "Dresden-Hauptbahnhof" (main station) and "Dresden-Neustadt", and in many cases serve both.

Local public transport

The local public transport service in Dresden and the surrounding region is also excellent, featuring train, tram and bus services that will provide you with optimal mobility during your stay in Dresden.
